I would say he does understand it. Thats why he hates it when we quote it to him and use it as a weapon against him. Because he know the truth of it and he understands its power more than anyone since he had the awesome privilege of dwelling with the almighty God, who wrote and created that word. Thats what makes him so evil. He knows it, understands it, he believes it, and yet he still rebels against it. How hard his heart is against God.

Yes satan knows the words, but he can’t understand any of it unless it is explained by someone whom God has been pleased to show some of His secrets. That doesn’t include that old fool satan.

Well, first of all, I would say that celibacy is not a gift. However, the self control it takes to maintain celibacy definitely is. My question to you would be, How do you know you are never getting married? Can you really tell the future? And I would say “yes” God does ‘condemn’ sex outside of marriage. He created it, he gets to make the rules. He also forgives, by the way.

Hmmm… so what about people who are NOT born with the gift of celibacy, and yet, know they are NEVER going to get married? I was “waiting for marraige” for the first 22 years of my life, until one day I woke up and realized: I’M NEVER GETTING MARRIED! This is not a case of “Oh, I’ve just not found the right person yet”, it’s an actual and factual statement. So… what am I waiting for? And does God condemn THAT then?
